Consulting Analyst

What I work on

As a Consulting Analyst, I work in support of the consulting team on a whole bunch of things. I’m part of our dedicated baseline assessment team for new clients. When a new client comes in, we dig into their initial data, assessing their situation and where the immediate needs for action are. It’s fun, diverse work. I love having a handle on every client who comes in.

What I enjoy most about my work

One of my favorite parts of this job is preparing pricing counsel for clients. It’s high-impact work that gets tangible revenue results. I’m crunching numbers, creating and analyzing heat maps; once that’s done, things really get interesting. I love working with the senior consultants to form the consulting recommendations and action plan based on my data work. I get to work with some of the most brilliant pricing minds in the industry. Then, we get to bring the work to the client and see how they react, how they implement, and see the results of the changes.

Highlights of my career at TRG

Working with clients is awesome. In my old position in the community networks, I would visit whole markets and talk to a lot of different arts organizations. Now I get to sit down with a single client and work with them in a deeper way. I really like that I’m now able to immediately start implementing plans based from the data analyses that I do.

What I love about the arts

Everything! The arts have always been a big part of my life. My mom was my elementary school band teacher and I played trumpet starting in the 4th grade. So I’ve always had an appreciation of music, as well as musical theatre and visual art. Creativity and expression are such important parts of civilization and culture and I enjoy taking part in that.
